The ESS-AG 4.5" x 16" spoke gauge wheel keeps your planter at the depth you set. Narrow, straight spokes leave big openings so mud and residue fall through instead of packing up. The wheel stays its true size, rides tight to the opener, and keeps the seed trench clean from the first pass to the last.
Consistent seed depth: open spokes stop mud from building up and changing the wheel's working size, so every row plants where you set it.
Clean, well-formed trench: the tire runs tight to the disc opener so the trench wall stays firm.
Sheds mud and residue: less stopping to clean wheels when the field isn't perfect.
Priced per planter: $100 per wheel. A 12-row planter (24 wheels) is $2,400. A 16-row (32 wheels) is $3,200. A 24-row (48 wheels) is $4,800.
Size: 16" diameter, 4.5" tire width. Complete wheel, ready to bolt on.
Replaces John Deere part number: AA86055 (4.5" x 16").
Tire wears out? Replacement 4.5" tires are sold separately, so you can re-tire the wheel instead of buying a new one.
